Otto cycle thermal efficiency

Some Otto cycle with a two-atomic ideal gas has thermal efficiency of 50%.
What will be the thermal efficiency of the Otto cycle with the same gas, if compression ratio will be increased twice?

Carnot cycle

In some Carnot cycle the cooler temperature is 0ºC and the heater temperature is 273 ºC. What kind of percent of changing of the thermal efficiency gives the 1% of changing of the cooler temperature. Decreasing of the cooler temperature gives increasing or decreasing of the thermal efficiency?
